SUMMARY:City Council Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Regular meetings of City Council are held on the first and third Mondays of each month at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers (in City Hall on the Downtown Mall at 7th and East Main Streets) and are open to the public. Time is open for up to 16 speakers on subjects not scheduled for a public hearing at the beginning of each regular meeting. Additional time is open for speakers at the end of the each meeting. Speakers are asked to limit their remarks to three minutes. \nAgendas of regular Council meetings are available in advance from the Clerk or on the Council website. The meetings are televised live on Charlottesville’s Own TV10 and may also be viewed on-demand from our City meeting video archive and via Facebook LIVE. \nUpon written or phone request\, the Clerk of Council will answer questions about Council business. \n
